Getting our kicks on Rt 66...

It all started in:

Shamrock Texas.

U Drop Inn Cafe

.. it was closed so we went to Big Vern's Steakhouse instead!

and it was soooo good!

Good old home cookin'

NOW...

on to the 

sights and sounds 

of Shamrock..

YEP...

that's about it!

..we could have      stayed here   

              

... but 

{{thought better of it and}}... stayed here instead!

anyway...

a few years back my niece who grew up

in a little town in Colorado

 moved to NYC!

this was taken on the Coney Island Boardwalk 

she showed me

everything I wanted to see

in the 4 days we had together..

of course, it was at breakneck speed!!

but it was a blast!!!
